A dad learning to walk again
When I was younger my dad suffered from a massive heart attack. He had 80/20 odds of living. Some of my earliest memories of him was when he was recovering. I remember him learning to walk, talk, and eat. Since I was so young at the time, it seemed normal to me but now I realize how lucky he was to have the chance to learn to walk again; it is a miracle that he is alive and well today.
Wow--what a life-altering moment for your whole family. I'm so glad to hear that he's recovered and got a second chance.
